Medical and Pre-Surgical Assessments
We offer several pre-surgical and medical clearance evaluations. These are often required by your physician or insurance company prior to certain medical procedures. These evaluations can be completed in one day of testing and we will provide the information directly to your physician within five business days of the assessment. During your testing session, you will complete an interview with one of our psychologists and will complete computerized assessments.
Types of medical and pre-surgical evaluations offered:
- Bariatric Pre-surgical evaluation
- Spinal Cord Stimulator (SCS) implant
- Opioid Risk Assessment
Pre-surgical evaluations help ensure that you are prepared for your procedure and are aware of the potential risks and consequences that may follow your procedure. If the assessment indicates any concerns that may impact your readiness for the procedure, our office will contact your physician directly and we can work with you and your physician to attempt to overcome any barriers that may interfere with a successful outcome. We also offer counseling services to assist you with your transition and changes you may experience following your procedure.
