Sophia Grippo Headshot

Sophia Grippo

Sophia Grippo is a current clinical psychology doctoral candidate at Midwestern University. She has completed previous training at Heritage Professional Associates, where she developed skills in assessment and case conceptualization.

Sophia is interested in working with individuals across the lifespan, with a particular focus on teenagers and young adults navigating life transitions. She also enjoys working with both individuals and couples, with an emphasis on understanding attachment patterns, relationship dynamics, and how these influence overall well-being.

Her therapeutic approach is strengths-based and integrative, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic perspectives. She values creating a supportive and collaborative space for clients and strives to remain attentive to each individual’s cultural background, personal values, and openness to incorporating spirituality into the therapeutic process when desired.

Outside of her clinical work, Sophia enjoys leading her bible study, walking and hiking with her dogs, painting with watercolor, building Legos, and attending live music events.
