Patricia Jackson, AMFT

Pattylynn Jackson is an Associate Marriage & Family Therapist in Illinois with experience providing individual, couples, and family therapy, supporting clients through complex relational, emotional, and phase-of-life challenges. She earned her Master of Science in Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Phoenix and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services. Pattylynn is currently advancing her clinical training under licensed supervision as she works toward full LMFT licensure.

Her clinical experience includes working with adults, couples, and families across diverse community-based settings, including home-based support, crisis stabilization, and outpatient therapeutic services. She has supported clients navigating relationship conflict, infidelity, grief and loss, anxiety, life transitions, caregiver stress, and generational family patterns. Pattylynn also has experience offering emotional support and crisis intervention for individuals experiencing trauma, abandonment wounds, and major life changes.

Pattylynn’s areas of clinical interest center on strengthening relationships, improving communication, fostering emotional safety, and helping clients rebuild trust—whether within romantic partnerships, family systems, or their relationship with themselves. She is particularly passionate about working with couples seeking to heal from relational ruptures, deepen emotional connection, and create sustainable, intentional patterns of love and partnership.

While maintaining a warm, strengths-based, and culturally responsive approach, Pattylynn integrates elements of systemic family therapy, emotionally focused therapy (EFT), cognitive-behavioral strategies, and solution-focused techniques. She believes therapy should be a collaborative space where clients feel genuinely heard, supported, and empowered to create meaningful change.

In addition to her clinical work, Pattylynn is committed to ongoing professional development, continuing education, and expanding her clinical expertise in relationship dynamics, trauma-informed care, and couples therapy modalities.

Outside of work, Pattylynn enjoys cooking healthy meals, staying active, exploring new places, encouraging others through motivational content, and spending meaningful time with her family, friends, and loved ones.
