Nicole Weiner, M.A., Psy. D., is a Pre-licensed Clinical Psychologist who obtained her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Alliant International University-California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP). She earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from CSPP and her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from California State University Northridge. Dr. Weiner completed her post-doctoral experience at Dr. Jennifer E. Manfre and Associates in 2024 and is presently working towards licensure.
Dr. Weiner employs an integrative clinical framework that includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Humanistic Therapy, and Existential Therapy. She is proficient in evidence-based treatment modality, Seeking Safety for managing symptoms of trauma and PTSD. Her practice is guided by these theoretical perspectives while maintaining a nonjudgmental approach to support clients in enhancing their self-esteem and autonomy.
She began working in dual diagnosis (substance use and mental health) in 2016, and has since deepened her understanding of nuanced implications of unhealthy coping strategies. Her clinical experience encompasses group therapy, individual therapy, inpatient/partial-hospitalization/intensive outpatient programs, and telehealth services. She offers therapeutic support to individuals aged 14 and older, as well as families.
Dr. Weiner aims to foster insight and bolster internal motivation for change. Her areas of special interest include assisting individuals through transitional life stages (such as career changes, marriage/divorce, high school to college transitions, and first-time parenthood), providing postpartum/perinatal support, and relationship dynamic resolution. Additionally, she welcomes incorporating spirituality upon clinical request.
