Julie Young, Psy.D.

Dr. Julie Young is a licensed clinical psychologist who has been in the mental health field for 20 years. She completed her B.A. with Distinction in Psychology from The University of Illinois at Chicago and her master’s and doctoral degrees from American School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University. She trained as a generalist providing therapy and assessments services to a broad range of ages and psychological presentations. She has specialized training in the treatment of domestic violence and sexual trauma.

Dr. Young’s therapeutic approach is solution-focused with cognitive-behavioral and EMDR interventions primarily utilized. In her free time, she enjoys family time and sporting activities.
