Eva Peterhansen, MS, OTR/L
Eva Peterhansen received her Masters of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from University of Illinois Chicago. Eva has many years of experience as a clinician in pediatric school-based therapy and adult medical/surgical rehabilitation.
Eva’s professional background includes working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders, developmental delays, sensory processing disorders, various medical and learning disorders. Eva has extensive experience with conducting assessments on young children, developing and implementing treatment plans. Additionally, she has experience with developing individualized education plan goals (IEP), attending IEP meetings, and working with multidisciplinary teams. Eva’s experience and background has allowed her to help children and students maximize their education to reach their fullest potential. Eva has a strong knowledge base on sensory integration. She helps kids improve sensory, postural/motor, visual/perceptual, fine motor and life skills through child-centered and individualized therapy sessions.
Eva is passionate in helping young children develop independence and success in their daily lives. In her free time, Eva enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, hiking, running, reading and cooking.
