Gabe Berger

Gabe Berger is completing his master’s degree in social work at the University of Chicago. His first year internship was at a residential treatment facility for adults with substance use disorder. Before graduate school, Gabe worked in conflict resolution, providing mediation services to middle and high school students, and to parents going through family court. He has also served as a high school reading specialist. Gabe holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Georgetown University.

Gabe’s therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing on behavioral and psychodynamic perspectives. He hopes to cultivate a deep understanding of his clients, and the realities of their lives. He also believes therapy is a chance to explore new ways of moving through the world, with acceptance and support.

Gabe hails from Seattle, Washington. He enjoys reading, walking, and coffee.
