Scott Beckley

Scott is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor who provides individual and couples therapy. He received his Master of Social Work and Post‑Baccalaureate in pre‑medicine from Loyola University of Chicago. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University with majors in both English Literature and Anthropology. Scott has experience working at both partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) levels of care for addiction and mental health.

Scott works with clients facing substance abuse, depression, anxiety, life transitions, low self‑esteem, relationship dysfunction, developmental trauma, grief, career and professional issues, and emerging adult/adult identity development. Scott incorporates various existential life motivators and their contributions to mental health and substance use challenges.

Scott focuses on using different therapeutic approaches and evidence‑based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Attachment Theory, Existential Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and psychotherapeutic principles. He seeks to empower clients to achieve their goals and develop authenticity, resilience, and positive self‑image.
